Probably in September When most of the new seasons start. Unless they do another in England first deal! Hope not would rather all get to see it at the same time.

Hopefully September/October (can't come quick enough!) I wonder if SKY will partly finance it again. Although it would be good if it airs simultaneously in the US and the UK (and any other country that broadcasts it). No need for spoilers then.

When it starts really depends on how many episodes it ends up being.
If it's expanded to 20/22/24 then September is the obvious start date for US showings but if it stays at 13 then it could start mid season.
I just hope the UK showings don't go the way of most US imports with us being at least 3 months if not more behind.

I don't think they will split it like last time. Now that there is a huge following They could loose potential viewers or people will just download them..... I wouldn't know anything about that though........

All I can say is that I am not surprised. As I said on lvrocks tonight, NBC & Sci-Fi are very pleased with BSG's performance. They never had a question about bringing it back. I am just glad the news finally came about. If anything, announcing the pickup a few days later shows a sensitivity to the breaking news last week of Enterprise's cancellation. They did not want to time the BSG renewal with the Enterprise story. RDM's blog on Enterprise further reflects that sensitivity. This is a terrific show that will show a long life! Thank you NBC, Sci-Fi, RDM & Eick for bringing this groundbreaking series to us. So Say We All! KR

I guess we will have to see , but I hope it's in September when a new season begins , and I hope it's on the Sci Fi channel , but the thing is I don't know how many days will it take to do 13-16 episodes at once ? if it will take days then I'll wait until season 2 comes. WHA

It makes sense to me that they would want to time and synchronize the season two eps with the Stargate premier.
I imagine that the whole seasons will run elsewhere while SFC breaks the season in half, like with Stargate.
