Well I started up gradeing the desktop PC today. I bought a new 8x dual layer DVD burner and a fat WD 7200 300GB disk drive. I also bought a pair of web cams (me and the missus). Do to my DL habits the burner and drive where badly needed. The 300gb drive will be added the pair of 40gb drives I have now. The drive was $149.00 after rebate (202.00 before) and IMO a real good deal. I am going to get a new CPU 3.2 or higher, and 2 gig ram, and a new video card, and lastly a new tower case. Is anyone else doing or planning an upgrade?

Well there is that super double crome model I have been eyeing. It even has a large red power button. I might just splurge on it after all! ;D

That model seems rather chattie for me. I like one that just says "by you command" and "it is done Imperious leader" when I put toast in and when it is done. Oh yea and it doesn't have enough crome for my taste.
