The 13 episodes listed...does that include the 6 additional scripts that were ordered earlier? I'm guessing yes, because those scrips were probably used by the network monkeys in making the renewal decision.

It would be neat to see the Galactica pick up some midsize support ships, rather like our destroyers. It would be interesting to see how the ship-to-ship combat would play out . However, since they are so far away from home now this scernario seems faint at best. I'd like to see the Pegasus as well, but I'm not gonna hold my breath, and it wouldn't break my heart any if it never shows up in TNS. I like the idea of one ship. Besides, who is to say that the Cylons didn't capture a Battlestar and crew it with Cylons? Adama would have to be pretty crazy to just let a strange ship into the fold without a hell of an explanantion. EDIT: Oh yeah, and show more Cally...

SPOILER************************************** In 1x13 as Starbuck takes the Raider in for a landing it is clear that Caprica City is destroyed. As for the people I would suspect that the Cylon Centurions are hunting them down or infiltrating them with Cylons and playing the same game that they played with Helo. Sorry, hadn't seen the finale yet. I know RDM had mentioned that a lot of the Caprica storyline was added in after the mini showed that Helo was popular with the ladies viewing... I suspect it wasn't ever going to be shown again, but when it was, they needed the extra time to CGI up a damaged Caprica City. Remember, the budget for these shows is fairly small (remember that was why the actual Cylon attack in the mini wasn't shown)...which is why I came up with the whole 'suspension of disbelief' thing. My $0.02.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened to all the people left behind on Caprica ? We haven't seen a single corpse, or roaming dog come to that. It's like the world has been emptied. What I think they're trying to do is just get you to suspend belief. Cylons nuked the planet and cities as well, but so far we've seen no damage whatsoever. I'm guessing the writers just want you to trust that it happened, and move on. Course, I could just be talking out of my butt as well...

Will we see them? In the original there were some pretty big names such as Ray Milland, Lloyd Bridges, Patrick Macnee, Lloyd Bochner, ect. To date the only "big" name we have seen is Hatch. IMHO if they had a bigger budget more guest talent could be aquired. Don't forget Fred Astaire and Ray Bolger!

"Somewhere I read that the premise behind "Star Trek" was, "Let's see what's out there," while the premise behind the new "Galactica" is, "Run like hell, they're after us." The premise of the old "Galactica," of course, was, "Run like hell, they're - ooh, a casino planet!" First recorded instance of a TV show with ADD." Pure gold. After all, those colonists had plenty of places to spend their winnings...

the thing I liked most about this episode was you got to see a bit more about the rank structure on the Galactica, especially among the NCOs like Hadrian and Tyrol. You could really tell at one point that Tyrol was 'flexing his stripes' to Hadrian, and again later when Hadrian comes to get Boomer and she tells Crashdown to back off. It's little things, I agree, but that makes the show so likable for me. On the other hand, if a tribunal was to have been enacted, I'm sure that in real life (yes, I'm aware that BSG is NOT real life:)) a senior officer would ahve been appointed instead of having an NCO do it. That was my only gripe.
Hadrian will be back though, I think.

OK, Just to point this out... Traditionally, miliatry officers are clean shaven, (So you can guess my vote). Something to do with having nothing to hide... Although I must admit Adama with a 'mirror universe' goattee would be kinda wicked.

Considering Dualla's line, it seems like Nelson Mandela meets Timothy McVeigh. Those were my thoughts exactly.

Got this from the SciFi boards and verified it on the USA Network website:
USA Network will be showing 33/Water at 4:00 PM on 5 February. Looks like the show's getting passed around to get A) more revenue, and B)more viewers! I checked the site and found no other showings beyond that, though.
I consider this a good thing.

I just got the Station Pass, which includes SWG starting February 1st! If I get bored, I may revive my character there. I also play EQII and CoH pretty regularly. Drop me a PM and I'll give you the names and servers.
