TNS started here on TV-3 tonight - we all know the plot etc so just a few points about the screening:
*Bah its NOT in widescreen, plain old 4:3, alot of the space shots suffered through this - rarely saw more than the nose of the Olympic Carrier for example.
*Its the same version as the UK one many of us downloaded - UK Theme and opening sequence.
*They cut to a commercial break right after the drummy preview bit of the opening sequence - very disconcerting
*TV-3 are inserting little show ID Stings before each commercial break..these use that cheesy graphic that has 6 with glowing eyes and some weird techno style music
*4 commercial breaks in total - these were very annoying after only having seen the downloaded version!
*no obvious cuts despite the early 7:30pm time slot (havn't checked against a copy of the Sky broadcast tho)
*they do the old trick of squashing the end credits over to the right half of the screen and promo'ing 2 other shows (with voice over) at the end..the little Moore-Eick bit was postage stamp sized.
