i'm guessing this is ladyrheena? Tell the duke "Hey" for me. pfft! Whenever have I given you the impression that I'm remotely picky? As long as there's a hefty dowry and inheritance to pay off my family's gambling debts, I'm fine. ...and they used to say that only the good die young. .. ummm... was that a threat? Have I been poisoned? I shall [glow=red,2,300]embrace[/glow] my nuggetness and absorb all I can in this time of learning Yes! Be as the kitchen roll

Wow! That was one helluva fight. Sorry I was offline and missed it, guys. Crashdown, you make a cool bad guy. caseOrange, you make a cool...er, corpse. I wouldn't get too excited about the dowry, though, unless a complete set of Anne McCaffery books and a Sony MP3 player is your idea of riches...

.. ummm... was that a threat? Have I been poisoned? Heh heh...wouldn't you like to know... No, actually it was just a reference to our duel...and our ages...and, oh, nevermind. I shall [glow=red,2,300]embrace[/glow] my nuggetness and absorb all I can in this time of learning Yes. This is your time of self-awareness. Be in touch with your inner Nugget and it will light the way. ;D

I wouldn't be worried about my cheapness, so much as the poison in your wine on the wedding night.
The mp3 player will be mine!

Your lack of survival instinct makes me think this may be easier. It would probably have been a smart move not to have brought that up

But the first step in evading the trap is knowing that it exists, is it not?

Mmm, but the first step to a second, more succesful trap is knowing in advance that your first trap isn't going to work

Just a question- at what point did we decide we were getting married anyway?

Methinks this is steering more toward the "Relationships" thread.
