Would you not be tempted to gather a bunch of people and whenever someone went in, stand around it pointing in and laughing to see how often you could convince folks that you could see in and force them to hurry out?

VPM That's what you say!   Weirdest experience that I 've had, is queuing for the Men's at a concert (at Wembley) and having Women in the same que so that they could use the cubicles. Very strange, standing there doing your business and having Women talking behind you.  |

I agree that is quite unnerving! I had a similar experience as a teen in Belgium. I was on this music tour comprised of high school students from several schools in my area and had the *swallows with difficulty* unfortunate experience of visiting a unisex bathroom, unbeknownst to me. As the story goes a friend and I were with a group of other kids from our tour at a city bistro when my friend and I decided to visit the 'facilities'. We asked a waiter for directions to the bathroom and were told that the bathroom was downstairs. So we head down these old stone stairs into this rather long, large-ish open room with sinks along the center of the wall and stalls at one end of the room. The room was empty except for us and not thinking too much about it, we went about our intended business. While still behind the closed doors of our individual stalls, we hear rather heavy footsteps on the stairs. My friend whispers over to me that she thinks its a guy. I tell her no way, she just has an overactive imagination. Meanwhile, the footsteps continue to the other end of the room where my friend & I both realize in hind sight that there had been urinals  ! Needless to say we finished up quick and got the heck out of there. At the age of 17, that was the first and last time I used a unisex bathroom at the same time as someone of the opposite sex. Very strange! VPM |
