Thanks BB I guess I'm a little dated. I hadn't noticed some of the name changes. My wife Cylongoddes never saw TOS (she was born 1978). But I did as I was 7 or 8 and loved every minute of it. I still to this day watch reruns and marathons of it when it is on. I love the new series even more.

Perhaps. But as one of the Battlestars listed destroyed alongside the Atlantia was the Triton (also mentioned in background chatter in the TOS pilot movie), I've been interpreting the statement that Crashdown is "just a refugee from Triton" as meaning that he was assigned to the Battlestar Triton, but either somehow escaped its destruction (perhaps the same way Boomer survived the ambush of the Galactica Strike Squadron, by virtue of the Raptor being behind the front lines) or was on leave/vacation and was on one of the liners Roslin gathered together and brought to Ragnar.

If there are any statements in the eps after "Act of Contrition" (which I as a yank haven't seen yet) that clarify this, I haven't seen them mentioned online yet. Perhaps our own Crashdown can clarify this, as I'm sure he's been keeping an eye out for info on his idol...

I'm not sure as I don't remember any other than what Boomer says. Speaking of Boomer she is from the Troy mining outpost. It was destroyed in an explosion but people are still from there. She talks about it in KLG pt 2 (ep13)
