I've just sent Sky and Scifi an email congratulating them on such a wonderful program and about the amount of people coming out of the woodwork to watch it. Hopefully it might make some difference in getting a second season if others do the same, I know i'm not the only one to think so.

Should also consider writing thank you letters/e-mails to the advertisers and mention that you buy their products (if applicable). They are the ones paying the bills and most like to hear from viewers. Plus by writing, it gives the advertiser an additional indicator that their money is being spent wisely and effectively and may influence future decisions on whether or not to continue to pay or renew commitment to paying the ad rates for BSG. ;D

Thanks for the email address Blade Runner! I sent Sci-Fi an email, and encouraged them to share my comments with their advertisers.
You can help the "cause" if you share with them a bit of info about your demographics: age and income range.

I received this from EJO (or someone pretending to be him).
Did anyone else get one:
Dear Michael -
Thank you for taking the time to write and for sharing your thoughts about "Battlestar Galactica." I think we have wonderful writers, directors, crews, special effects creators, and, of course, actors who put their whole hearts into every episode. There were complaints in the beginning from fans who wanted the old show back, but since then most of the response has been positive. It is gratifying to know that our combined effort is appreciated.
I hope that you will continue to enjoy the show as the season progresses.
Again, thank you for taking the time to write. All my best, Edward James Olmos
