How hard to find Ragnar on t'internet?

When I first started watching the series I spent a couple of days looking round at the different forums. I found this one by finding a mention of it on another forum. I have obviously stayed due to it being on the same wavelength about the series as I am. When I google for battlestar this site does not spring up, due to the name I presume. Is there anyway to make it easier to find for people, or do you think it is best to let people just wander upon it and stay if they find it?

I honestly think this series could get massive and this board could as well. Do you think this would be a bad or good thing. The board is quite friendly at the moment do you think its would change and become too busy. Or on the plus side would being the premier site help with getting benefits for its members?

I'm hoping that fans will find us when January rolls around; plenty seem to have found us already, so I don't think there will be an issue, but we'll see.

And I certainly hope this stays as friendly a place as it is now....I know we're gonna do everything we can to see to that!

When I joined way, way, way back in November, I found the site through Google.ie.

It was the first site that I visited catering to TNS and I haven't left yet (and I wouldn't dream of doing so for any amount of money).

Also judging by how many have joined since I did there shouldn't be a problem finding it (although that might have a lot to do with Blade's banners).

So hopefully there won't be a problem with folks finding it.

My main problem when I started looking was this. I have not really ever tried discussion boards but I thought I would have a look as I liked the new show, I watched the old one as a kid but have no interest in it now at all. I put battlestar galactica into google (I have just tried it again) and it came up with numerous sites. The majority of these sites slagged of the new series with a passion that was quite worrying. I found ragnar mentioned in one of these and looked it up. I found it was just what I was looking for. Now I know the name I can put Ragnar into the search engine and find it or just put it into favourites. I suppose my main point is that to find it as a novice to these things to have to wade through quite a lot of sites that are in some cases complepley opposed to TNS.

Just a suggestion:

Could consider changing "Message Boards" to "Forums". Most people know what forums are and to others, a message board often means a threaded, non graphical chat-like board.

I still dont get any hits on google under the new name. Also when I try galactica or battlestar it does not show the site. The vote option on galacticastation page votes for ragnar and the link goes back to the old address name.
