BSG went up in the ratings over the previous week. In the 18-49 age bracket, it was up by 16 percent according to a Sci-Fi source. It was further remarked that BSG is "an unqualified hit." More to come.... KR

More to come.... KR Great news ! Do you have the actual numbers. Also, would it be possible for you to post the overnights and final ratings for the other eps including the initial airing of the mini. It might be a cool addition to the reviews, or its own section off the main page...something for us who like to watch trends. ;D

Very good news indeed! Now sci-fi needs to make it official before we get another so-called insider information thread outlining NBC's dissatisfaction with the show...

Hello, this is my first post in this forum.
Would anyone happen to know what the ratings have been like for the encore airings on Mondays, or the airings over on USA? It seems to me that the episodes are rich and complex enough that they require a second viewing to fully appreciate them. I was just curious to know if the ratings reflect that somehow. Or is there evidence that a different group of people are watching the encore airings and thus that the show's total audience is much larger than we think?
Thanks

So...the lowest ratings and least people is from the episode with Richard Hatch as the guest star. Amusing. Do not expect any more pushes from the network to hire more TOS actors for cameo roles.... (darnit, there goes my hopes for Dirk as Cain...)

big brother, you may be trying to split the hair too thin. "any given friday" changes numbers drastically. Stargate also experienced the same bump through those weeks.
let's see how "Colonial Day" fairs. Hatch will be back for that episode.

Eh, I was half joking, just forgot to hit a smiley. The bigger news is that, after the expected slight slump in ratings after the first episode, the show very quickly turned the graph around and started up again, and has been slowly but steadily gaining every frackin' week!

Speaking of word of mouth...I've already made several phone calls to people I thought would like it but would be confused joining this far into the season. Here's to higher ratings!!
