But raises new ones like: Where were the Mk.7 Vipers if 'everything is on the table'  And, why were they talking about pulling 6-7g? No 'g' in space, so that asteroidy thing must have appreciable gravity. Finally, how many Mk.2s are there left now? I've lost track |

There is no gravity in space (other than that of nearby large masses) but G can be caused by changes in direction in relation to the way you are going. If you do a 90 degree turn your body will still want to carry on going straight and resist the turn. The term G just relates to what that force is compared to our rate of gravity on earth(caprica).
