I'm taking a poll to see which one EJO will be sporting for the second season , will he sport a beard , mustache , or both or Nothing at all , and the one with the most votes wins and will have the biggest noise of what EJO will be sporting in season 2 as Commander Adama .  IMO I think this is an interesting poll I'm taking here to see what your thoughts are .  WHA |

I voted for nothing....but as a proud bear wearer myself (that avatar is a rough self-portrait), I must say that EJO would look quite handsome with a nice beard. If nothing else, it would cover up his bad acne-scar pockmarks....

OK, Just to point this out... Traditionally, miliatry officers are clean shaven, (So you can guess my vote). Something to do with having nothing to hide... Although I must admit Adama with a 'mirror universe' goattee would be kinda wicked. |

Military officers also are traditionally clean-shaven to make sure they always look like their ID card photo. You don't want a full beard, because that makes it easier for impostors to put on a fake beard, steal your ID, and sneak onto base with mayhem in mind.

A clean shaven Adama is the way to go. Nothing needs fixing in this series as far as I am concerned! It ain't boke so don't fix it. ;D |

Definitely clean shaven. Besides he always seems to be shaving. It's just more military looking to not have a beard.

Also- I just thought of this- I think they'd have trouble explaining why he has suddenly developed a beard along with a gaping hole in his stomach.

Awwwww. That'd be cute...but kinda wrong. What I should have put inside the poll was since Commander Adama is going to spend a couple or a few episodes on his back in sickbay without a shaver handy to shave or he could send his son Lee or Col. Tigh to go into his cabin and get the razor for him so he could shave the stubble that gathered on his face from all that time being in sickbay unable to shave , I hope this clears this up any confusion now . But I think it will be more like since the Commander Adama recouperates he realizes that that having almost died from a gun shot would in the gut twice and almost bled to death on the CIC console, that he wants to bond with his son Lee, and it goes like this : Commander Adama: Can I ask you something son ? Lee: Sure , dad what is it ? ( he sat down on a chair by his dad's bed . ) Commander Adama : I was wondering if the Cylons hadn't attacked the the Colonies what would you have done ? ( and Lee said .) Lee: Really ? Commander Adama : Yes, really I want to know . Lee: Well after the Decommishing Ceremony was finished I guess I would have gone back home , retired from the Service own a Farm maybe own a neighborhood Bar why. Commander Adama : Well I guess I would have done the same thing Retire from the service as well and maybe co-own the bar with you , since I had nothing else to do anyway . Lee : Really , you would dad ? Commander Adama : Yes , I would son , I really would . Lee : Yes, well to bad it didn't happen, huh . Commander Adama : Yeah, well we could still do it when we reach Earth though . Lee: Yeah , I guess we could , it's just that I never thought we would be so much alike you and me . or something along those lines , and would be more of a Ron Moore type script and besides I think it would be more cute IMO . WHA |
