Dont forget tonight at 6pm I will have Bodie Olmos/Hot Dog on and then a news byte from KR and Michael Hinman.
In answer to a post over on Scifi, yes I am getting pressured to move away from BSG. NBC/UNI says I would need a license from Universal to do a weekly BSG show.
And the site I am on LVROCKS is pressuring me to get back to my "old" format.
So we will see where things go, needless to say I need help with Universal to get their "blessing" to do a weekly show.
My question is, why am I getting static about my show when there is a BSG site that Universal does not take back. BattlestarGalactica.com. And there are ways of downloading episodes from various other sites as well ^?

here is the right place to send your demands that I keep going about BSG. You have to do it from the Scifi.com site, click on feedback and then the email for program. It wont work if you copy and paste to a yahoo email.  I think they should at least give it a try, what is there to lose? Shaun |

As with all things, you are getting static because you are being heard and while people like Ron Moore undoubtedly know the good you do, the suits at the top who would first have to remove their heads from their behinds to understand the concepts of fan loyalty and growth only realize that somehow they're not seeing the immediate green. To me it's not unlike FOX's habit of shutting down websites that promote their shows. It's just bad and illogical business.
In any case, I posted your plea on The BSG Pre-Flight Briefing News Site.

Shuan, I sent an email regarding your show as well. I also sent one useing www.myway.com email service and it gets through their filter unlike yahoo. Hopefully all goes well for you. The show is really enjoyable and I will be listening tonight.  Thanks for bringing it to us. ;D |

Another thought, by Shaunomac doing it in this grass roots manner, the suits can't control it and that probably drives them nuts. |
