This was in the March 20-26, 2005 TV Guide issue:
Can't Wait for the New Season? Take an Exclusive Peek into Galactica's Future
Come July, when Battlestar Galactica returns with 10 new episodes, the destinies of crew members and their spacecraft will be up in the air (and, seemingly, down for the count). Till then, here's six tantalizing tidbits:
1. After a shocker next week, someone not cut out for the job will be thrust into a commanding position.
2. "An epiphany strikes our heroes," says executive producer David Eick. They begin to understand that "It's not in their best interest to continue running," he says. Expect a major battle on the planet Kobol.
3. President Roslin's cancer-induced visions will lead her to become something of a prohet to her supporters. Like Moses, she wants to lead her flock to the promised land--in this case, Earth.
4. We'll learn why the Cylons wanted one of their own--the Sharon clone--to make a baby with a human.
5. No longer the confused wimp under the intoxicating control of Number Six, a newly energized Baltar will start gaining power and driving his own agenda.
6. Stranded on Caprica, top gun Starbuck will undergo profound changes in her kill-'em-on-sight attitude about the Cylons. For now, at least.

Eek! I didn't read the above. I'd just like someone to tell me if any of my crazy ideas seem to have merit (or to lack merit), based on the above.
Some of my predictions are:
* Helo is a "Cylon." One of him will wind up on Kobol.
* Helo will go nuts when he catches a Sharon with Tyrol, and he will publicly humiliate them.
* Caprica Sharon is pregnant, but not by Helo. Tyrol is the most likely father, but Gaeta is a strong second! Probably both Tyrol and Gaeta.
* Sharon is pregnant with twins! I mean, two Sharons are both pregnant with the same baby.
* Roslin will flee to the Tomb of Athena, but someone will corner her there and drag her off and into captivity.
* Apollo will get tossed off the Galactica and wind up herding animals for Zarek or Baltar for a period of 8 or 9 episodes/days/weeks.
* Dualla won't put out for Billy and then will turn into a tree.
* Then this I'm not sure about, but probably Adama will die. If so, Adama really was replaced by a duplicate. The original will come back.
* And it's hard to say now, but I suspect the Sharon who came back from the basestar is not the same one who went. But I suspect she is the same one (or a copy) of the Sharon from the miniseries and several early episodes. And she is pregnant. And she is good.

1. I don' think that Tigh isn't cut out for command. After all he's the XO, the second in command and as such capable of commanding the ship. 2. As for major battle in Kobol, so the cylons are back in strenght!! Perhaps 2 or more basestars. 3. Roslins is likely to become TNS vissionary like TOS Adama 4. No comment 5. Baltar decides to betray humanity. That's not a surprise, I've seen it coming since his long and fast slide into insanity with the help of Six of course. His descent was complete in Ep 13.

I doubt Helo is a cylon. They needed him to get it on with Boomer.
Not much of an experiment on Caprica if it's just a couple of there own getting it on.

Disagree. He's spent a VERY long time as the second banana and has grown quite accustomed to just doing Adama's bidding. Big difference between being the Top Banana's enforcer and ruling the sundae. (give me a break, okay - I'm hungry).
I think we will see Tigh in over his head -- especially if his wife continues with her destructive influences. I think Tigh's failings may just be what gets Lee out of the brig.
We shall see.

I have a strange feeling that there might be a mutiny of sorts in store for Acting Commander Tigh. We know he's not particularly popular with the crew. With the old man effectively removed from the equation, the squadron and possibly the deck crews might decide to go bust out their CAG...in their minds having an Adama in charge, any Adama, could well be preferable to Tigh who is still a drunk in most people's eyes. But would Apollo take it up? Oh, the intrigue! Those tidbits are very cruel. VERY cruel. Is it July yet?

Au contraire. That is the whole point. The "Cylons" want to study a "Cylon" who thinks he is a human. The question is, "Is he alive?" if he doesn't realize he is a "Cylon."
I strongly, strongly, strongly believe Boomer was already pregnant before she had sex with Helo.

Interesting point MHall. Just studying the behavor and that's it........ interesting indeed.
This ties into this speculation we have with the cylons wanting to become human or "forgetting" that they were once robots.

Tigh will assume command, at least temporary, while the CIC is in chaos over Adama's shooting, Lee's mutiny, Kara's disappearance and Roslin in the brig. But I think what will eventually end up happening is that between the responsibilities of command of the military and the problems with the civilian fleet, he won't know which end is up and turns to his wife for some support. She will want him to stay in his new position of power and start telling him what to do (with him not realizing that she is a cylon). Eventually, something is going to happen that will get Lee out of the brig and the charge of mutiny dropped. It sounds like from the TV stuff that Kara is stuck on Caprica for, at least, a few episodes.

I don't think Ellen Tigh is a Cylon... but she'll definitely be disaster for Saul if he doesn't dump her.
Assuming that Acting Commander Tigh does get removed from command somehow... wouldn't that actually leave Dr. Emphesyma as the next senior officer? (That's by rank, not age. He's a major.)
If Laura Roslin is going to be regarded as a "prophet", then her visions must start proving to have some measure of credibility, so Starbuck likely won't stay stranded for long. But will she be restored to office as a result... or become the iconic "imprisoned visionary"?

If Starbuck is stranded for a few episodes, she'll need a ship (assumign she can't fly the raider again). Will it be a cylon ship or colonial ship? If its colonial, maybe they'll show her lead a group of survivors off Caprica and grow the refugee fleet a little bit... Does it say something bad about me that when I read that, I didn't assume Tigh? I'm sure that those of you who've seen Kobol's Last Gleaming can guess who I thought. And from what we've seen, it does fit the not cut out for command thing, but not really the shocker thing so much.
