OK, I watched the series lowdown, but that was at the end of a long day of traveling and I now forget most of what was in it. Plus, at that time, I had not yet been converted into the uber-fan I am now, so I wasn't trying to absorb every nugget of info that I possibly could. But, just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "they showed part of his plan"? You mean they hinted at events in the show that hadn't happened yet (beyond the stuff that happens in Season 1, which must have already been written by the time of the series lowdown)?

My guess is he has planned out a lot as he has a multi-year arc for BSG. KR He has a multi-year story arc planned? Hadn't heard that. Where/when did he say this?

I was just wondering if RDM has ever given any indication of how much of the overall plot of the show he has planned in advance, and to what extent he's winging it. What I'm most curious about is if he already has the answers to the show's mysteries--namely, what the Cylons' plan is--worked out. One would hope that the writer would know what their motivation is if one is to be writing for their characters, but you never know. There are a lot of shows in which the writers don't worry about that kind of stuff until they're forced to. On ST: TNG, they would often write the first half of the season cliffhanger without having any idea how it would be resolved.

Our source at Fleets has posted the overnights. Adjusted ratings I suppose are released on Wed. As I mentioned in another thread, I decided to set up a webpage to keep track of the ratings: www.astro.cornell.edu/~springob/bsgratings.htmlLooks like this source is getting the ratings 2 weeks before they're posted by Sci Fi Wire. Are they posted on any public forum other than this board?

I don't have them, but I'm sure with some digging I could find a news article that mentions them. If anyone here already knows where I could find such an article, maybe they could point me in the right direction?

Since it doesn't look like the BSG ratings are archived anywhere, I've decided to set up this website to keep track of the ratings: www.astro.cornell.edu/~springob/bsgratings.htmlI'll only post the ratings after they've been reported by an established news source. Didn't realize that Gateworld also reports the number of viewers. I'll add a column for that soon--probably tomorrow.

This is the episode that got me wondering "Why in the world don't Adama and Roslin insist on blind testing with the Cylon detector?" That is, is it really a good idea for Baltar to *know* who he's testing? Why not insist that the identity of each subject be hidden from him so he can't try to frame anyone? Even if they think he's trustworthy, it's too dangerous to put that kind of power in anyone's hands.
