Personally I would prefer to have 13 quality episodes rather than a diluted version which would reduce the quality of the series What he said! Though can they please price the DVD boxsets accordingly? d'ya think? I mean, £40/$76 for 13 episodes?! I don't begrudge paying that for Babylon 5 or Stargate SG-1 boxsets (22 episodes)but for BSG? I adore the show but my wee DVD budget only goes so far! Oh well... will have to see what can hold out the longest - my willpower or Play.com putting in a sale... (I'm thinking the latter is going to go first! )

Is it not better that he (and many others) have gone underground. Not when there's money and 'honour' involved! And be honest... who can resist gloating? If you can, congratulations, you're a better person than this monster!

YEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! *Screams and runs around like someone possessed* Way to go!!! *Ahem* I'll behave now! What can I say that everyone else hasn't? This is just wonderful news... espcially in light of tonight's SG-1 (great episode but one of my favourite characters got written out and I'm a bit bummed ) but this more than makes up for it. Without causing a flame war or owt... TNS will do what TOS never did... make it to a second series and that is something to celebrate! That and Xenu getting Spider to honour their bet! ;D

Well, if Sci-fi take as long to break the news that BSG has gotten a second series as they did to announce that Beau Bridges is joining the cast of SG-1... then we could be looking at the opposite side of Valentines Day before we get 'official' news! Oh well - but the Toronto Star news is good news in my book. No offense to Xenu or the lovely folks make the place what it is, but for a source such as that to say 'it's going to happen' people... makes me a happy monster!

No offence guys - but I'll wait until Sci-fi say 'yup - S2 is a goer'! before I start doing the official 'happy dance'. Just don't want to get my hopes up and then get bitten in the... Use your imaginations people! I'm sure KR is on the money but... need evidence!

It's a wonder you ever get anything done! Makes me glad I can't have a desktop image at work as it would cause no end of hassle! So it's just an uninteresting shade of blue. It used to be eyewateringly pink, but now it's boring and blue. I mean, my co-workers know I'm strange - they don't need the evidence!

I guess it's too much to hope that the personage is Amanda Tapping, eh? ;D 'Fraid not! One of the principle pictures is of the opening shot of 'Fallen' where a certain Dr Jackson is lying in a field with no clothes on.... and when you consider that this was filmed in a field in Canada in Febuary... it's a damn miracle the poor boy didn't get hypothermia! I've looked at that one, I think I have it as my back-up but I completely agree with you. The tech and the background is nice but want to see people, dang it! They make a series, not the tech! If you see anything good, would you mind posting a linkie?

This one's currently on the 'home' pc www.scifi.com/stargate/downloads/img/SGD10_800x600.jpgI like it a hell of a lot - nice colour and lots of lovely eye candy! *rwor!* My screensaver is favourite pictures, so there's A BSG promo(Starbuck, Apollo, Boomer and Adama w the Viper) a picture of my sisters and I at my dad's 60th birthday party Fluffy, destroyer of worlds a very 'kinky' 'Andromeda' pic Bucky from 'Get Fuzzy' doing the Haka A collage of a certain SG-1 actor showing a lot of skin Agent Smith Monica Belluci as Perspherone Hugh Jackman from X-men and more! Every time I come across a nice image, it usually gets saved out for the screensaver. Need images of the England, Ireland and All Black rugby teams too...

Helo - I thought your sig file looked alarmingly familiar! BB - yup, miss the thunk thread (single) too. Also missing the discussion of 'Reckoning pt 2' too. Without giving too much away... to quote the bowl of petunias in 'Hitchhikers guide...' "Oh no, not again!" Also heard that the ISP has had heart failure too... 'tis a shame as I always turn to it when I need a reminder of something or to check something... such as the name of the guy who played 'Malakai' in 'Window of Oppurtunity' (was re-watching this last night in honour of 'Groundhog Day' ;D) as he looks alarmingly familiar...

Oh thank the Lords of Kobol it's not just me neither! The number of times I go there (to either letch over the MS/Daniel thunk thread or 'terrorise' the BSG threads ) is really 'sad'! And to find stuff out too! So as of 1pm GMT, it's a no show!

Still waiting for a good laugh. ;D Sorry dude! You're talking to one of the most technically illiterate people on the planet when it comes to digital cameras! I can point the thing and take pictures but transferring from one computer to another takes more know how than I have! I think I know how to do it, I shall investigate at the weekend... I haven't forgotten

Surely it should be me as I look nothing like helo It's hard to say m'dear as the photo you posted was extremely fuzzy - with a clearer image, it might be easier to give a definite yea or nay. I have a picture I don't mind sharing at home (which is nowt short of a miracle! I see a camera pointed in my direction, I run away screaming in the opposite direction! ) but I need to download it... watch this space for a good laugh!

What about the showroom dummies The Automanons (or whatever they were called )... erm... can I plead that I was too young to remember them? My memories range from the end of the Baker era onwards - Peter Davison was my favourite, though you must give 'All teeth and curls' his due! Oh frak - I forgot 'Blake's Seven' too! *doh*

This is going to sound so.... cliche but I think it was the original BSG that got me into SF! It's that or 'Buck Rogers in the 25th Century' (Gil Gerard as Buck... Twinkie RULED!) and of course, the old favourite 'Doctor Who' (The Cybermen scared the hell outta me! ). Not forgetting, of course, Star Wars. I have fond memories of watching that on a video we recorded off the telly (this was about 1980 or so) and watching the Trench Run again and again and again... So it was a combination of Dirk Benedict, Twinkie, Star Wars and Star Trek TOS that have made me the nutcase I am today! ;D I was also heavily into astronomy as a small child too, so I always saw SF as being a natural progression of that.

You have tentacles? Or is that a typo? ;D From little I know of the male of the species - damn things have a mind of their own (or is it the attachments that have the mind of their own... I do forget!) so they might as well be tentacles... rather than something else!
