I actually hope nothing really develops between Kara and Lee. I like that they obviously have affection for each other but retain their mutual respect. It's the whole Mulder/Scully thing. Keeps it so much more interesting with that tension that never quite lets up. Besides there is enough sex for the whole crew between Baltar and Six. One thing I did notice, and it probably doesn't mean much, but Cally was the first to give Apollo a hug after he destroyed the Cylon base in The Hand of God. I tpersonally think it will happen, but I do think they will take it really slowly.I also suspect that there is a lot more history to them than we have seen so far. I love the tension between them it's great. I also love that they have this rivalry and are equally matched in all sorts of ways. I don't think anyone will ever complain that Kara's character has ben relegated to being 'Lee's girl' like some people complained about in SG1 fandom. Erika

I'm pretty sure I suffer from Shipperitis. I have been a shipper during my obsession with The X-Files for both Scully/Mulder and Doggett/Reyes. I was a shipper when I liked JAG and wanted to see Harm/Mac. I got shippy with Ron/Hermione in Harry Potter. And then I watched the miniseries of BSG and I went nuts. Ships all over the place and I'm not talking about Battlestars, Vipers, or Raiders. I'm talking Lee/Kara from the first scene of them together and the same went for Roslin and Adama. Severe shipperitis, it appears, but like any good drug addict, I DON'T want to be cured. My favorite is definitely Lee and Kara. I'm a big dumb dork but Kara is my role model and she's the same age as me, and Lee is absolutely Mr. Ideal. Sigh. Only two more weeks until I get to see more of the story... considering moving to the UK if not just to see BSG RIGHT FRAKKING NOW! ;D LOL I said exactly the same to a friend- ships everywhere! And coming from a fandon where you are constantly told that relationships ruin sci fi here we are with a show that thinks it's ok, welll more than ok! I love Lee and Kara. I'm really interested to watch that chemistry develop. But also Helo and Boomer, he totally loves her, he's such a hero and it's all so tragic. Can't wait to see how that plays out. Erika

Or a knife murderer. I was recently reading the live journal of someone on my friends list (they happen to be a slasher- in the slash writing, rather than knife murdering sense) and they were talking about how when watching Firefly, they found Simon and River to be terribly incestuous. It was shortly after this that I started thinking that slashers are vaguely sociopathic with the complete inability to tell the difference between friendship and love or affection and lust. The two other things that bug me aboust slash, 1) If I read fanfic, which I don't, I read it because I want to read about the characters that I like, if you're deliberately changing the way the act, then clearly they're no longer the characters I like, so what's the frakking point? 2)Some of the reasons slashers use when they try to argue that their pairing of choice is in fact canonical are so freaking spurious and idiotic Please don't go anywhere near the Jack/Daniel slash fandom of Stargate SG1 and say that, not unless you are wearing fireproof underwear anyway <g> Funny though Erika

You didn't insult me at all- no worries.
Kos has a bit of a reputation in the political community as being a Far Left guy. That's his right and I begrudge him nothing for. Same as with the Far Right people.
That said, his board has some very very strong political beliefs that someone who goes over there for an innocent discussion might accidentally stumble into and be offended so it was just a simple warning about knowing where you're going-
That's all.
-Shawn
Now I really want to go have a look.

Hey, Thanks, for some some of your comments and suggest. I feel little better now... ViperPilotMomma, you are correct about this part. All of those previews/promo are also hand written. So anything you would add, will be great! I just want to let you guys know, anything, I mean anything you want to add is great help. I mean it, so don't be afraid to bring stuffs to here. There's no stupid questions or stuffs you can have for here. I am opened mind and welcome anything you have for here. What a great idea to do this. Can I ask a question as you've just said stupid questions are ok. I have a friend who teaches hearing impaired/deaf children and she is amazing at lipreading. I've often wondered if people who can lipread pick up stuff from tv and films that other people miss and if it's sometimes nonsense, just sort of background noise or adds anything to the viewing. I don't suppose anyone out there knows what Scully's dad (aka as General Hammond -SG1 <g>) was mouthing to Scully when she woke up to see his spirit sitting in a chair talking to her. I think the X Files ep was 'Beyond the Sea' Thanks Erika
