Or are slashers just homo encounters? First I ever heard of it was on the SciFi boards. The SG-1 boards are full of people writing Daniel/Jack encounters. YUCK!!

I just hope Blockbuster is going to carry it. I've been enjoying burning and returning all of the 24 seasons.

Yeah, yeah, I remember it now. It was exactly like basketball, except there were 2 man teams and you scored by putting the ball in a hole in the wall instead of a hoop.

I think it's just something that's made up for that particular unit. When I was in the US Cav. enlisted scouts would say, "Scouts at the Front", and the officer would say, "Tankers in the Rear"
It was just something that was unique to our unit.
We also used to call our Commander a T W A T, behind his back of course. It stood for Tanker Without A Tank, since most Cav. commanders are former tankers.

In the deleted scenes, there is one of the Galactica jettisoning its munitions and destroying them in space. That explains why they don't have any bullets.
But, it sure seems like a waste of money to me. When I was a gunner of a Bradley, I can tell you, we never got to blow our ammo up, or even fire any unused ammo down range. We always had to return it.
Well, except for the 7.62mm ammo I used to stuff in my bags and take home, LOL.
