To be honest the last two eps of the series have began to make me wonder if the President is a cylon. I am beginning to assume the Cylons don't want the fleet destroyed, as it seems they could do so rather easily. Rather they are deliberately leading the colonials to Kobol and so forth, perhaps through a high-ranking Cylon.
I have to admit Laura is the most human out of Adama and her. She cares for her people, though she is capable of making ruthless decisions. Also she seems to have been a little too taken in by the whole "Adama is a cylon" riff. I mean - why on Earth would a Cylon agent tell her there was another high ranking Cylon on board?
Methinks it is some sort of keyword to activate her programming. And of course there is the dream as well.
The Cancer? Could this be some deliberate limited lifespan for the model, maybe something key is meant to happen in the next 6 months. Curious that she was only diagnosed with it on the day of the attack... perhaps this was when it 'activated'? Maybe she imagined the doctor? Dunno....
I'm hoping I'm right as it means more Mary MacDonnell, as being one of the 12 models Cylons is a guarantee for more screen time after the cancer takes effect. Given how dark BSG is I don't expect a miracle cure to be found!
I'm not sure, but could it be the human cylons want to reproduce? Certainly I get the impression No. 6 wants to have Baltar's children and it may be he has been chosen as the father of a new race of human-cylons? I also noticed that the President said in the mini, "They're going to have to start having babies" or something.
If this is the Cylon's plan, then this just proves what I am saying. Certainly it made me worried it could have darker meanings than what we thought.
Anyroads, the great thing about BSG at the moment is no theory is too bizarre... and my theory certainly fits. Doesn't mean its correct of course.
Remember the Olympic Carrier!
