Never was a SG-1 fan! A show about paint drying would be better than that flat sreies! I liked the Stargate movie, but that show does nothing for me. Unfortunately, there will be no "ENTERPRISE" next season, so I hope that SCIFI will put something cool on at 7PM central (US). SG-1 has to be in its last season, huh? I am confident that if BSG TNS gets more popular & enough positive press, it will beat a lot of shows on Fridays! I am telling everyone that will listen about the show, & so far have "converted" about ten people that would've never watched the show!! caseOrange & his girlfriend are among the converted. He & his girlfriend are scifi fans, but they hadn't seen the mini until I brought a recorded copy to their house & after that, they were hooked!

Is it me or does anyone else just feel really, genuinely, sorry for him? To get so twisted over a tv show An intensely, fantastically, mind blowingly, OH. MY.GOD. tv show - but still... a tv show. How heartbreaking it is to watch a human beings decline into madness right before our very eyes Yeah, my sentiments exactly!! I experienced this frakin' sad excuse for a human being on the Sciffy board a while back! This nutball is extremely disturbed! Look, I understand being passionate about a show or whatever, but he goes way too far, & I've seen a lot of that, for I am a Trekker & I post on the TrekBBS & there are some real headcases on that board & most of them are fans of Star Trek TOS! Lang & others like him are rabid fans of BSG TOS!! I guess when you recreate or reinvent something popular you are bound to piss off or disappoint some fans, but when you make one that is infinitely better than the original, some fans get mental!!! He is sort of a celeb in the BSG fan world, but it sickens me extremely to say this! Lang & his followers (if any) blow! FRAK 'EM! SO SAY WE ALL!

So say me also!
I was wondering, do the Lords of Kobol require a sacrifice in order to grant us our wishes? If so, we can sacrifice Lang or one of those other delusional TOS losers! I think that would please them! ;D

I have the same problem, & it gets irritating to have to log in every time! Hopefully they fix this! I post on the TrekBBS quite often & NEVER have to re-log in! If they fix this, it would be great!

I agree, but I would also like to see a back story on who created the Cylons & how it got away from them in the first place. But, yeah, some background on Adama AND Col. Tigh would be great.

I've done my part! So far, I've gotten 4 more people to watch the new BSG! A couple of them were ones that probably would have never watched it if it hadn't been for my persistence! One friend I work with heard me babble about it for the last year & he finally caught half of the re-broadcast & came in to work the next day wanting to borrow the DVD! I loaned it to him & he & his wife watched it Thursday night & then they watched the premiere on Friday & they are hooked! A lot of these people are not scifi lovers, but they loved the story no matter what genre it is! It has begun...

i guess old men think alike after a while. Although i'm about half Olmos' age! ^He's lying!! ;D CaseOrangeb], you're older than that, LOL! BTW, great post earlier!
Frak Entertainment Weekly, that shitrag has always been that way with the scifi genre, unless it's bubblegum crap like Buffy or Xena or Dark Angel or whatever! They are the print equivalent of a pop music radio station! If it's not geared toward the masses it isn't worth watching to them!
FRAK EM'!!

Enterprise is one of my favorite Trek shows! RDM's opinion doesn't matter. He was a great Trek writer/producer, but my only concern is that he keeps on writing great BSGTNS. I'll dismiss most of what he said due to the fact that people were saying the same things about STTNG while it was still airing but now it is considered a classic by a lot of people's standards.

All I can say is that the frackin' moron that would report said pirate (AARRGH) should be ejected into space from the frackin' airlock. GEEEEEZ, what are we, the Gestapo? I personally don't get into downloading & pirating but who gives a frack? Universal will make a pile of cash from this in the long run!!
The idiot who's that STUPID that they would put a pirated disc on ebay will get caught, 'cause they're too STUPID not to!

Sky One put up a big chunk of chash to cover production costs and as part of that deal they got it first. However, if BSG is picked up for a second season the money will be there and Sky One will not have season two before the US, if anything the US and UK will have it at the same time which would be very cool. Thanks, mjm800! I figured that was the deal. I hope that the US & UK get the show at the same time next season because, being a spoiled American, I'm not used to anyone getting "our" shows before us! It is frustrating to navigate thru boards & avoid the spoilers! Thanks again!

ViperPilotMomma brings up a great point about the fact that the downloading probably occurs with more frequency in the case of shows broadcasting earlier in some areas. It is ridiculous that BSG TNS is NOT on in the states! Does anybody know why? Please tell me, because I always figured that a series PRODUCED in North America & STARRING mostly North American stars should be BROADCAST here first! I for one am not downloading but don't think there's anything wrong with doing that. And there shouldn't be any laws against it, the entertainment industry needs to friggin' get over it! The music industry (of which I have been involved on a small scale) is getting really crazy with trying to make "un-copyable" CDs and such, this is retarded because it only works with direct digital transfer. All you have to do is run RCA audio cables between 2 devices & voila! The same can be done with DVDs & tapes. With all of the satellites in space & fiber optics & all we should ALL be able to see the same shows on the same date. I guess that countries that have different languages might have to wait a little longer, but it is silly that shows like BSG are broadcast in the UK first. Hey, everyone, have a safe & awesome holidays! Later........
