here's your quote, short but sweet! "used to?" Is that not uttered by Apollo after the dinner from hell in Tigh me up Tigh me down?

The RPG forum is under Other Media but it is not the correct forum to discuss the console game. But you have raised an interesting discussion thread - maybe you should ask one of the moderators where you should put it like Bladerunner or Xenu.

The bad news is that it IS that kind of con (for some people at least) Last time, there were the usual assortment of Klingons, Stormtroopers, along with various Xena Warrior Princess and Lord of the Rings Characters (and quite a nice Vampire Willow - in a very tight costume - very nice!) They say it takes all sorts to make the world go round.... Oh dear *cringe* whatever rubs your buddha i suppose I just hope JC, JB, TH and KS are there. Do you need to buy photos as well as pay for the actor's autograph? I was thinking of taking along the BSG Boxset and getting the cast to sign it and then maybe taking my own photos Any idea how much you pay for an autograph or does it vary? I'm looking forward to seeing Sean Astin and John Rhys Davis as well - i have a feeling I'm going to be skint after this thing Looking foward to it though. Anybody going to the party?

You guys in the UK are so lucky. Question: Do any of you in the UK have some links to this new Dr. Who series on BBC? A friend of mine is a Dr. Who fan from way way back and we can't seem to find any info on it here in the US. Thanks! Suz Try the BBC's own website - I'm sure as the series premiere approaches, the BBC will be promoting it quite heavily. Or try www.bbc.co.uk/cult/. I'm sure there will be a section on Dr Who here. . As to Collectormania - I'm in the process of looking for a hotel at the moment - something cheap and cheerful. I'm dragging my friend along with me but not being a sci-fi fan she is dreading meeting people who may be there dressed up as Klingons or aliens. Trying to convince her that its not that type of con (hopefully!)

Hopefully, people who go will be able to report back to the board and maybe post a few dodgy photos of themselves and members of the cast ;D

I will be going provided i can arrange the time off work. My team leader isn't back until next week. If i do go, i'll be driving down on the Thursday and staying for the weekend in MK. My friend is coming with me and although she likes BSG she isn't nuts over it like me. But she is looking forward to seeing James Callis as she has a soft spot for Baltar. So if he isn't there i'm dead. Hope other people are going

*sticking fingers in ears* "I can't hear you lalalalalalala" ;D Know what you mean! Although i don't want to be in the position of having driven nearly 400 miles to be disappointed At least some of the LOTR guys will be there for compensation Fingers crossed.

Just thinking....Now that BSG has been picked up for a 2nd season, i hope the actors confirmed to appear at Collectormania will still be there. I mean...wouldn't filming be up and running by this time? The actors are 3 of the main leads after all.....

Does anyone know whether Weta Sideshow will have a stall at the event? I collect some LOTR stuff but usually have to order it online or go to the Forbidden Planet.
I have looked at the website but can't seem to see anything about what stalls will be there (there probably is and i'm just missing it!). If anybody has attended this before i would appreciate any info you may have.
Cheers Prism

This is starting to look like a 'must attend event'. Need to speak to the boss nicely about getting the time off...
