My friend in NYC just reported that he got the 2-disc edition up there; anyone else picked this one up?

Its freakin' awesome, but I haven't had time for the commentary yet . I'm a commentary nut though, so I really bought it for that more than anything.

Xenu, I still dont get any hits on google under the new name. Also when I try galactica or battlestar it does not show the site. The vote option on galacticastation page votes for ragnar and the link goes back to the old address name. I will take it a few days to show up in Googe, but she will...

I actually would love to get a more user-friendly URL for the site, but financial logistics prevent me from being able to do so at the present time. If anyone wants to be so gracious as to contribute to help us register a domain, use the donation box on the front page or contact me

I'm hoping that fans will find us when January rolls around; plenty seem to have found us already, so I don't think there will be an issue, but we'll see. And I certainly hope this stays as friendly a place as it is now....I know we're gonna do everything we can to see to that!

They're gonna have to deal with it, because its clear the way the scene played out that its purpose was to give Adama this information, not us. We had already been told that there were 12 models of Cylon by Six right before the destruction of Baltar's house. So, Adama knows for a reason relevant to the plot somehow. Unless it turns out to be another case like the Russian on The Sopranos.

It almost has to be Baltar....but we still don't know why. I keep expecting this scene to turn up at the beginning of an episode to remind us of it so they can finally deal with it, but nothing yet...surely before the season's over we'll learn what its purpose was...

I would support it; one reason being because Larson, at the stage in his career he is at now, I seriously doubt he would be anything more than the producer; he would almost certainly hire outside writer/directors (and if he was making this inside any studio system, they would undoubtably demand that he do), and we would, in effect, be in their hands, not Larson's.
By that time, the series would be well-established enough for any compotent writer to be able to work within the formula; just like Chris Carter didn't direct the X-Files movie, I doubt that RDM would be at the helm of any TNS film, now or later...so we're probably talking about the same kind of situation no matter who makes the film and when...by the time it gets through the studios to the big screen, it'd probably be someone else's work, regardless.

To mark an event on the calendar just click on the number of the day you wish to notate. I'm not sure if it will allow time zones or not aside from the forum default, but you could just note which time zone you mean.
